Why it matters

We built this place with dogs in mind. Not as an afterthought.

We traveled with an old dog for years. Her name was Choya. Like to drink. Boarding broke her. Most rentals that allowed dogs were neglected, worn out, and indifferent. None were beautiful. None had been designed with care. We talked about it on every drive home. When we built ABAITA, we started from a different question: what if a dog-friendly home was just as considered as any other?

The house for your dog

Your dog will know immediately.

The garden is fully enclosed with a secure gate. The flooring throughout is easy to clean and chosen to age well. There is space inside for a bed or a crate without rearranging anything. The house is genuinely comfortable for dogs, not just permitted.

From Choya...

She did not live to see the house finished.

Choya came on every drive from Berlin to check on the construction. She walked the boundary. She sat where the kitchen would be. She lay in the dirt where the floor would later run.
